10 yrs ago....that seems like more than enough time passed for OP to get a job with a half-way decent company.

What's the catch....why wouldn't a company hire him? (there must be THOUSANDS of Felons who are driving Trucks) ????

You might be able to get state funding for your CDL training. I would foresee no issues if you went with almost any smaller ~100 or less company. Really most hiring managers would love to have you if you show intelligence, respect, and mindfulness in the interview. Don't be a thug, be a perfect gentleman, and you'll be golden. You have no idea the kind of trash that walks though those doors every day.

Congrats. You did what you had to do. It'll continue to get better and more opportunities will continue to open up.

I have several felonies going back to 1984. my last one was in 2009 and most mine were for theft. I got my CDLs and started driving in 2015. if you haven't been in trouble since then you should be good. Just be honest and tell them anything they want to know. because now they can find out anything they want to on you with the stroke of a key. try industrial Warehouse services in Tuscaloosa Ala.. Carroll Fulmer in Groveland, Fla.. as long as you got verifiable driving expierence at least 1 yr you should be good.. Just don't give up.
