You're fine. A buddy of mine has been to prison a few times on gun charges. He was able to pass hazmat screening.
landstar8891 and mje Thank this. -
Because federal law requires all applicants to list user names for all message boards on their applications. Especially TTR! Duh!
mje, Giggles the Original and 123456 Thank this. -
Don't sweat it. I've got mine and my felony is a more serious offense than yours. They are looking for serious violent crimes or possible cohorts with potential bombers. They don't want to give a terroist permission to drive a truck that can be turned into a giant grenade. And I am in complete agreement with them.
mje Thanks this. -
I have never been asked, and would like to see documentation on this "federal law".
mje Thanks this. -
Just to clarify everything for all users on this forum, (TTR), an applicant applying for a truck driver's job, either OTR or local, must list their e-mail addresses and passwords for their e-mail accounts, social sites as Facebook, and The Truckers Forum, (TTF)??
HOLY MOSES!!
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!HotH2o Thanks this. -
I've never seen an app that says list your email addresses or passwords....
To the OP. Indiana just passed a new law about record expungenent. If your charge is over 8 yrs old and you have not re-offended the state will drop the old felony.

Google the hazmat qualifications. Your conv was in 2002. I THINK the rules are for terrorists acts. A lot of people with PAST conv have hazmat as long as it is within the guidelines.
mje Thanks this. -
From what you have stated, using the guidelines below... you should be fine.
