It would be hard to do otr being on paper..because most have travel restrictions. However with that being said, you should be able to find something local that could also help with youre obligations if any that you would have to meet. Knock on some doors he prepared to hear no shake it off and stay positive. Everyone makes mistakes and deserves a chance to better themselves. I'm sure Chinatown will be along to help. Good Luck!!

I know for a fact Trans Am won't hire you. I tried to get a guy here in Hampton that is on Federal Probation a job. He even had the approval of his PO. They just said no. I finally got him a job with a small carrier here in Hampton Roads.

    Can you leave the state?
Give us more information. You finished school and have a CDL-A, right?

Stuff happens; another guy in Virginia that's on probation was hired by RoadTex. He had permission to cross state lines due to the job requirements.

If you are on probation and are stable most PO's will approve the travel provided they sync things with the company as to know where their charge is at any given time. The guy I spoke of goes all the way to California at times and is gone for 2 or 3 weeks sometime. He fills out his monthly report online wherever he is and his wife mails a copy of his check stubs monthly to the PO. I hope I am wrong, but I have a doubt any of the mega's will hire someone out on paper.
