If I was the owner of a trucking company i wouldnt hire anyone with a felony for dealing drugs and use of them or ANY felony. Whos to say that the person wont be caught driving with a bag of coke and the whole 200k+ rig getting seized? Ouch. No you most likely wont get hired anywhere with this economy but although thanks to obama it is picking up so there is more freight to be hauled so you might have a chance. Its just that drug charges look terrible on a application for CMV driving job! You can probaly get a good job working at a warehouse. Good Luck for whoever the friend of yours who was dealing dope! Goodbye! :)

You are just guessing. I got hired last June, and again last week. Not everyone is so judgemental.

Drug charges look terrible on any application, it's the wise person who takes a chance on someone.

No doubt, there was this former DOT officer that was in the forum for quite a while, and he/she admitted to several class 3 felonies while performing duties. Difference IS he/she wore a badge.
