Don't be a prude. I been running under KCH, brokered through Landstar, making about $670 a day just to sit around on standby.

RateCon from Landstar is about $1300 a day per truck. Depending on if it's brokered once or twice, drivers are taking anywhere from $600-$1000 a day.

This past week, I took home about $3500 for sitting around on standby, drove about 400 miles total.

The load I took from Ft Worth to Seguin paid about $2000 to go 220 miles, thats after my 70%.

Got bored sitting and now on a FEMA load only paying about $3/mile.

The only great thing about running FEMA loads is no hours of service restrictions.

I can run as free as a bird, the 14 and 11 hour don't apply, neither does the 30 minute. Also no 70 hour rule either on a FEMA load.

Unlimited hours and run whenever I feel like it.

I am not running for FEMA, I am running for the State of Texas. The rates are significantly different. I'll let you know after we are totally done. The work is basically the same though shuttling trailers wherever they tell me too within 250 miles of Houston. I'm not planning on going to Florida however because I feel like freight rates will be better than sitting there for cash.

Jesus Christ, you must be doing $1200-$1500 a day running for the state of texas. If no middle man, possibly $2000 a day I'm betting.
