Same here.
Before Covid we’d have women co workers ride with me to a job site that would be four hours away.
I had a second dash cam with audio , just in case .
cause all they gotta do is say he touched me and , bam.! You’re fired and she’s a hero .Another Canadian driver, Lennythedriver and MartinFromBC Thank this. -
Yeah but that one time you don’t CYA is all it takes to lose your entire career. If you didn’t have that audio you’d have been the one to be asked to leave. I’d rather train ex felons. And I’ve had multiple women ask me to team with them. Never had a problem with a woman driver. Still wouldn’t.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

In this day and age, I would be terrified to be a trainer on a truck with a woman. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love women. I can’t seem to have enough of them in my life. But times have Changed, you get a disgruntled woman, all se has to do is say an accusation about you and your life as you know it can be over. It really is that simple. It’s treacherous enough going on dates with women out there. Much less being alone in a truck in a work environment for weeks at a time with a woman. I think women truckers should be trained by other women truckers.
Another Canadian driver and Geekonthestreet Thank this. -
I've been training for 11 years. Anyone who thinks that restricting their training to males only will shield them from accusations of sexual misconduct has another think coming.WallyWallyWorld, MartinFromBC, Another Canadian driver and 1 other person Thank this.

No because one of my coworkers was reported for hugging dispatch after her relative died. True story. Reported by another driver. The only way to shield yourself from accusations in my experience is to be in with management. I’ve had that luxury twice.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

That's not what he was talking about.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

Oh if a guy reports it, it won’t go through. Statistically never happens. Never in my career have I ever heard of a guy successfully submitting a sexual harassment claim.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

What are you basing this on? What statistics are you talking about?Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
