Yep got all the manuals. Looked through them all but no mention of first oil change. I'll ask the dealer Monday. Just forgot. Thanks.

I know silly questions. I'm a farmer by trade so ask me questions about seed/fertilizer rates, commodity prices, and yield rates. I'm no mechanic and am only capable of regular maintenance. Lol
-
Because not all silly question turn out to be silly.
About the oil the be used in the engine.........better check it.
Alot is changing with the engines and thus with the oils to be used.
This is true for all liquids used in machinery.
If you don't use the right kind..............they might void all warranty. -
I'll do that. I know with these new emissions engines they take a low ash oil. That's why my newest tractor is 7yrs old.....very little emissions controls. I'll live with this urea for a truck but not too keen on it in the farm equipment. More stuff to break. Thanks

We have a couple of '12's and an '09 with these motors and setup (the '09 no urea). Regarding your doors, you might still get some wind noise, we had the dealer add some extra weatherstripping along the inside of the door frame. Our oil changes are done every 15K or 300 hours whichever comes first, also, the oil you use in the new truck is suitable for the older ones. Our fleet ranges in age from '99 to '12 MY's, same oil in all the trucks. Not sure the brand/weight they use though.

Is that because they did that in the past with the older engines? -
I want to adjust my truck speed limit too. Mine is a Mack Vision 2011 with the MP8 red-painted engine.Currently, I have tried using a VCADs Pro software with my scan tool, but its telling me that the software installed on the engine is not compatible with the software installed on the ECU, and that as a result of that, I won't be able to programme certain parameters, and the speed limit adjustment happened to be amongst the parameters that I won't be able to programme.I am suspecting that the problem could be from my software- the VCADS Pro. So please, is anyone aware of a software I can use to adjust this? Has anyone worked on this very mack vision 2011 with red MP8 engine before? I need your urgent assistance because my drivers are ruining my business; they have already condemned 2 of my trucks in an accident via overspeeding, and I really need to limit their speeds pls.In case, I am from Nigeria and the only dealer here can't figure it out, has poor maintenance/service knowledge, so I need to do it myself pls before I go out of business, someone pls help!
