Got my answer 20 minutes ago.
I will not be attending FFE (I knew something was up) because my license had expired a few years ago due to a glitch in the renewal system and a typo at the BMV. I knew this happened and nobody was really at fault. I went to renew my license back in 07 and rather than a renewal the BMV worker gave me a duplicate or at least it went in the computer as a duplicate. So in 2007 when my license was set to expire it actually did expire. I didn't know about the error until 2010 when I was pulled over, in fact my hard copy of my license said I was good (really confused the LEO and the judge even how the license said good, but the computer said expired).
In summary any suspension more than 90 days in the past 36 months is unacceptable to FFE. In Ohio 90 days after expiration the expiration is considered a suspension. I bought a 2nd house and moved around the time they should have sent me a notice in the mail, just a failure in the system. Nobody can expect the system to work in all circumstances or foresee all pitfalls that might exist. So now I guess I have little choice but to go to a gutter feeding starter company. So we will see how strong I really am now.
I wish all you FFE guys and gals the best of luck! See you on the road.
Edited: The suspension is also unacceptable to Millis, just got off the phone with them too.Last edited: Aug 9, 2011

when will the 3 year period end ??
-
4wheeljoshua, Sorry to hear about that. You really sound like you have your head on your shoulders and would have been a good driver. I also got my final anwser as well, and I will be going to the school in Dallas see everyone else down there. You may want to looking into going to roadmaster or some other driving school locally so there not worried about your DAC report. theyll get your class A's and then just about any of the major companies should hire you.

No it will be completely gone in about 9 more months.Unfortunately I am not a patient person. I figure if I start now even with PAM I will only have 3 more months to go and I can then choose a good company with 1 year of experience. Might as well get the ball rolling now.
123456 Thanks this. -
Is Pam your only option ??
It is better to wait, and succeed,
than to rush, and fail !!!! -
- PAM

Driver Solutions will connect you with all of those now? I was under the impression they only did USA and PAM???

No sorry that was just some broken hearted sarcasm. So do ya' still think I work for FFE? LOL
I think the choices kinda suck but really there is no industry where you get what you want without first putting in your time. I can not say that I have put in as much effort as I should have and really deep down agreeing to DS feels like defeat and giving up. I am gonna bust my $%@ the next few days trying to line up something better than DS. -
I'm sure that the news of the "system failure" initially hurt, but I'm a big believer that"one door closes and another one opens". The main thing is, you're moving in the direction you've chosen and you'll get there. Enjoy the journey and keep us posted on where you end up. I'm going up to FFE's facility on Thursday.
