It looks like FFE/Lisa/American Eagle Has a cause for more road inspections and an Intervention.

Or here is a short url to the FMCSA site if the big one doesn't work.

I was on hold waiting for a recruiter when I did a search on the FMCSA website. I hung up before a recruiter came on the line.

not great, but I guess you can do alot worse. I drilled down on the data. 500 driving violations in a year for a fleet of almost 1900 drivers.
Top 3 violations: speeding, running red lights, and no seatbelts. Of the speeding violations: 25 were 1-5 mph above posted, 17 were 6-10 mph above posted, and 10 were 11-15 mph above posted, with 5 construction zone violations.
Fatigued driving and HOS violations are above the accepted DOT threshold by .3 percent.
1000 fatigued driver/HOS violations.
101 driver fitness violations:
11 for driving with no CDL(wow)
32 for not having DOT med card (come on, really?)
15 for driving cmv while disqualified
9 drug/alcohol violations for the whole year for almost 1900 drivers
1 knucklehead got busted for drugs.
8 knuckleheads had a drink too soon before reporting for duty
vehicle violations:2367 for a fleet of almost 1800 tractors and prolly 3x as many trailers. Biggest number of violations for burnt out headlight/tailight: 144.
next biggest number of violations for missing mudflaps: 15.
cargo related violations:31. top 3:
failing to secure vehicle equipment:14
failure to prevent cargo shifting:7
failure to secure load:6
crash history for last 24 months:150
total miles travelled: 175,495,424
tow aways: 142
fatals: 12
injuries:50
Biggest red flags according to the data: HOS and fatigued driving. safety and training should concentrate on these issues.IAMRollin, grumpy6371 and DenaliDad Thank this. -
Hmmmmmm,
maybe they should open a driving school !!! -
123456 Thanks this.

Wow they have a nice average.
-
They did open a driving school. I had to take my road test with 3 of these so called graduates and not one of these people could find a gear if you gave it to them. All FFE wants from these people is their 0 CSA scores as it lowers FFE's total CSA score. The more 0'S THE LOWER THEIR AVERAGE CSA is. What a joke. FFE is just playing the system. Drivers are leaving in droves and I heard of students leaving too. The best thing you ever did in your life so far was to hang up that phone.
grumpy6371 and 123456 Thank this. -
Ive been with FFE a little over a year have NEVER been inspected.Dosnt much matter who ya drive for most failed inspections are drivers fault.LAZY everything is co.s fault. They run me fine Take care of anything i cant.(roadservice) good luck getting them on ph.Overall Im happy with em. To me CSA is no differant than starwars. They are laying off police, teachers, doctors so they can spend billions on dot. ya
biker dave Thanks this. -
I was with them for a year and enjoyed the time with them, no issues. Starting back on Aug/15. The other drivers FMCSA numers are right on though, FFE's rating is very high now. I would expect and be prepaired to get the red light on the scales. As long as your stuff is correct, up to date and your truck is right and checked out the only thing you should loose is time however we all know the DOT can roll under a brand new truck off the showroom floor with 10 miles on it and tell you they found violations. Go figure!!!
biker dave Thanks this. -
Suncoast, do you have experience with truck fires? just wondering.
-
No truck fires so far, I hope to keep it that way lol...
