I got a FFE driver that shows up every weekend and parks at the back of the lot. Problem with that is their are no stalls and he blocks trucks on both sides of the lot.
Even though their are open stalls.
Once parked and his ride picks him up he's gone till Monday morning. Then the next wheel holder shows up and parks next to him, now we have a line of trucks all across the back of lot. Nobody can move until they move.
The manager has to call the company's and give them the truck number to get it moved. Sometimes no one can be contacted.
Don't know why the truck stop chain does not tow them. They don't buy fuel they're but they throw their garbage out along with their piss bottles and poop bags.
A few who frequent this truck stop are thinking about putting all their garbage in their fuel tanks.
    What do you think ?
    Any ideas ?

Legally, it's a VERY BAD IDEA to even think about putting garbage into the fuel tanks. If caught by the authorities, offenders could end up getting SERIOUS PRISON TIME for that, not to mention HORRENDOUSLY SERIOUS FINES & DAMAGES.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round.

Sounds about right, I wish my take-home was 75k, but it was closer to 47k after taxes and deducts (health ins, 401k, etc). My 7 weeks of hometime and 5 weeks of medical leave didn’t help either; and unlike otr, the pay raises weren’t in affect for dedicated until mid-march.

edit: I got 2 weeks of vacation pay during medical leave, so total time off work in ‘22 was more like 10 weeks.

Which is what I like, no extra pay to get screwed on at kllm… well maybe detention and layover for otr, but the dedicateds don’t usually offer detention and the one I was on was generous with the layover before switching to the guarantee.

After the mid-march roll-out, I got the guarantee 12 times over the next 40ish weeks (mid-march to end of year). I recently was forced to switch accounts, and spoke to a driver on it that claimed he was getting the guarantee practically every week… while I like having the backstop of being paid to do nothing, I’m not exactly thrilled about being on a low mileage acct.

I’ve heard mixed reviews on the otr paid hometime; depending on how their dispatcher enters it, they might only get paid for the days they take instead of all accrued.

I believe kllm is higher than ffe; ffe otr is mostly linehaul between warehouses. Their regional and local pay are probably comparable to kllm. Both websites are pretty transparent about the pay structures.

edit: I don’t really understand your question… from what I’ve read, kllm seems to be “mid-range.”

Earlier you talked about how Kllm doesn't pay much. My question is whether or not you think the pay at FFE is also low?

I looked at FFE website and it says a team with no experience will get 76cpm, which doesn't sound too bad honestly because the way the company is designed seems like they have a bunch of local/regional guys stationed at a terminal that just go out and collect loads and bring them back to the terminal, and then the team truck comes and hooks up to the pre-load and takes it to another terminal far far away, and drop&hook at that terminal. If that is really how it works, then I would say that's a pretty sweet deal. (I'm just talking about their regular teams...not the plasma accounts).
On the other hand, If the teams are required to bump docks and wait for loads at americold and other 8 hour shippers and receivers than all bets are off, that would severely cut into the bottom line.

Edit: Could you please share why you chose KLLM over FFE? Looks like KLLM pays higher cpm, but are the miles there? Do they share each other's terminals/freight?
