FFE Transportation

IF anyone is seeing this don't go to ffe transport there academy is good but beyond that forgot about i have seen allot of people leave there very upset.

 

seems like you had eyesight issues and likely scared your trainer ########, eyesight is imprtant because youre a driver..this isnt the companies fault.

 

No my eyes are better then most people there company just plane suck.

 

Can anyone out there tell me about the physical at FFE what is the process and what do you have to do dont mean the drug part I mean lifting and climbing part or are there any physical requirements.....Thanx

Ok, I don't know where all these horror stories are coming from. I've driven for them before for almost 3 years total. Any bad times I that experienced, 7 out of 10 times my attitude had alot to do with it. I'm actually back working for them again. I would recommend them to any driver that has their @#$% straight and enough common sense to keep their cool under pressure. This is not rocket science, you pick up on time and deliver on time and they will run you. Attitude is the key to anything being a success.

 

LOL to all of you.. FFE well just plane SUCKS. end of conversation and this is from the brand new drivers academy in fort worth. I graduated but without a CDL but with A's in both bookwork and driving. ya you tell me??

 

And please tell us how you did not get your cdl.?
Did you fail the skills tests or pre trip insp test.
There has to be a valid reason for no cdl even though you were an "A" student

 

He must have failed when he was being tested for his CDL license. I went through a local college to obtain my schooling and license. There were guys in my class that did extremely well during school. When we actually went to Department of Driver Services to get test for CDL lincense, these same guys panicked and fail there Pre trip. These guys really knew there material but just drew a blank during testing. Unfortunately, some people just test poorly.

Regarding FFE, I was there for a year and half. It was okay but it was my first job as a trucker. The last three months (August 2011-October 2011), my miles dropped significantly. I was only late on 3 loads while at FFE and 2 of those loads were due to the interstate being shutdown due to snow. Got a long great with my DM. Had to count my blessings that I got 2000 miles my last three months at FFE. If had to do over again, I would have started at another company with what I know now. Never had any run-ins with anyone at FFE but I wouldn't recommend the company to anyone. Just my two cents.

 

umm actually I did not fail anything. I had A's in everything that I did. and I graduated and later that day afterwords, I had a language barrier between myself and the instructor that was going over the dps route for the test the next day. I could not understand what he was saying. so i went to the office on lunch when we got back. I recieved a PHONE CALL! not even an in person meeting with the "head person" and he told me that I was being isobordanate.. sorry spelling. and gave me a bus ticket home. I tried to tell them that I was not I could not understand what was being asked of me and he did not care. I told him that I would like to go out of another instructor and yet again he did not care. So thats that. I never got the oppertunity to test. and by the way I am not A GUY! thanks.
