I had two trainers , first one was go go go , got pissed that I missed gears and went " too slow " through construction and a blizzard on my first trip out , through Albuquerque . A couple of near fist fights , especially when I got the truck stuck in mud ha ha . Everytime I told him to F off he apologized because I could drive ten hours straight and he banked . Second trainer was an old rodeo cowboy with american eagle , very chill. Stayed at a motel in pico Rivera once , met a girl at the bar and woke up late for our delivery . He was gone , called dispatch and the DM , Bear , told me he heard I got a hoor and it was up to my trainer if he came back for me . No cell phones back then so I waited in front for an hour , he rolled up , I got in and he never said a word . Upgraded me a week later . Good times

im going there august first for training and to start driving with them. new driver pay is 34 cents per mile just spoke with my recruiter yesterday. only thing im leary of is that i heard they have cameras in the truck to monitor the driver.

We all said the same thing when Qualcomm came out - that we were being tracked and spied on . Some drivers wrapped their towers in tin foil to block signal . It was just an improvement in communication , less wait time on the phone with dispatch , and easier to update customers with load progress . They use cameras to protect against litigation in accidents that aren't your fault . Use Bluetooth , seatbelt and keep the lizards in the dirt and you'll be ok

Didn't they just fold FFE into KLLM? I notice a bunch of old FFE tractors sporting KLLM pasted over where FFE was on the doors.
