I'm not sure on NYC. I never made it there yet. Jersey a lot as they have a yard there. I know I talked to one guy who lived in Brooklyn before out on the road and he said FFE would not hire him because they couldn't get him home regularly...:smt102

As far as orientation, if you have less than a year you may have to go to Lancaster (Dallas) Texas and then ride w/ a trainer. I know they do orientation there, or Atlanta, or in Chicago where I went. Not sure if they have one in Dundee, Fl., as I see your from Orlando.

    Thanks Biscuit!
I'm actually living in Louisville now,and I have 13 months and 130,000 miles OTR, so I'm guessing Chicago? Also, hows the equipment? How much is the pet deposit? And one more thing, my wife rides with me, how long before I can take her on the road?

Chicago would be close for you. The gal that runs it there is overworked so it's all paperwork and watching videos then on your way. The equipment is pretty good. I have a 2009, had 47,000 when I picked it up. Not sure on when the wife can ride, but the pet thing is .01cpm off your pay. But according to my accountant I can claim it as an expense and they break it out on your pay statement.

If you go to orientation the beginning of October you may get my truck. That should be when I leave and go back to gas hauling and I will be returning it to the yard there in Chicago.

Yep, still lookin to go there. I get out of school on Oct 2nd and I've got a pre-hire with them. But a pre-hire and a buck will get you a cup of coffee, so we'll see...

Yup, I'm going back to hauling gas and being home every night. Heard about an opening and applied and got it.

Florida is tricky. You can get stuck down there all week if your not lucky. Friday's is the day to get a load back north out of the Dundee terminal. :biggrin_25525:

FFE sounded good until the .29 a mile, .28 with a pet. Don't know if I can survive on that...
