well next time you end up in bridgeview to pick up a load for the weekend and you will go to walmart do some shopping and head to the hotel it beats sitting outside the terminal and idling while waiting for your trailer to get done

well at least this sounds like a pretty good outfit to work for. I know one thing though. Being stuck with someone that I don't know for 6weeks is going to be different. Hopefully I get a good trainer. Well, I've still got about 3 weeks until I'm supposed to ship out to Arkansas for the school. What type of stuff do I need to take with me to school and all that will be needed once I finish? Would you recommend taking a sleeping bag? And what else. I'd hate to get out there and then have to go to the good ole wally world and spend top dollar for stuff when I could just bring it from home.

Gilbert I got about a 9 hour run ahead of me, I will check back on the thread once I get to Dallas and see if anyone has answered and what else I can suggest for you.

Lonewolf, does FFE have many teams, and do they get decent miles? My wife and I are wanting to start driving. do you know how the training would go for be for us as a team. I used to drive back in the early 90's my wife has not driven before. She is not too enthused about training with someone she does not know.

take a sleeping bag the rooms are ok two to a room you share a bathroom with another set of people um there is one big dining hall wth a kitchen to store your food but be careful people will eat your stuff the school gives you 50 dollars every Monday to go to walmart there is a family dollar across the street so if u need stuff its there remember once you leave pine bluff u r gong to dallas so make sure u have all ur clothes just remember the basics

Sorry I didn't get on last night to answer any questions I was dealing with personal issues with a girl back home. Right now I am sitting waiting to unload in Grand Prairie on a load I picked up in Atlanta.

As far as the packing list for PineBluff I would suggest no more than 2 bags of necessity. Remember it is winter, and believe me those trucks last year were cold **** at 530-6am and it didn't improve much as the day continued. I would suggest thermal undergarments, long sleeve shirts, and maybe 1 pair of coveralls if you have them (I wouldn't waste money on them if you don't since you won't be crawling on the ground much if any). For bedding I would suggest a fitted sheet 1-2 blankets or a good thermal sleeping bag (remember you want to go with the bare minimum since you will be residing in somebody else truck after training + carrying a ton of stuff on a bus is a b****).

As far as the question to miles for teams, they are as unpredictable as solo (which is 2x worse since it's 2 people getting screwed on a bad week). I ran into a team a couple months back in Denver that over the previous 3 weeks had ran the same miles I had ran. I will say that at 29c per mile my last 2 paychecks have been 158(the week I came off hometime) and last week was 766. I will try and start posting my miles each thursday so you can get an idea of how my running is.
