Not only is your post an attack on a good member, but it's also disrespectful. I don't see anyone attacking your credibility, nor do I see you giving any decent information on anything. As far as not being allowed in Canada if you have ever had a hot check or been behind on child support you aren't allowed in. Too bad that you liberals have control of things or we could get things straightened out in the US to keep the unwanted out.

 

Your post lacks credibility in that you aren't even able to name the location of the yard in Lancaster (where you would be doing the paperwork for a rig). But also none of our locations have bulletproof glass.

 

I will say that FFE screwed me on breakdown pay this week for 1 day. According to them I wasn't sitting for a full 48 hours, however, that was due to them waiting over half a day to head me towards Lancaster from Temple.

 

Upper management in a different building, yes. The truck yard is a #### hole not big enough to handle the entire company as it's owned by the Conwell Corp. Not F.E.E. (not in defense of F.F.E. either) And behind bullet proof glass? I was there through the whole process of the remodel up stair's on both sides before and after the remodel was done and there was never any "bullet proof" glass up there. It's wide open except the new slide window on the left side when you get up the stairs. Frankly you could walk up there into the drivers waiting area around dispatch and wait for your dispatcher to walk up and you could punch him right in the face if you so desire.

Lonewolf: I feel you. They are bad about that ####. They've even had me sit down in Waco and about 15 minutes before layover kicked in they put me on a load and made me a day and a half late getting home. I was hell bent beyond pissed that few day's along with the time I was home. I took an extra two day's off for my trouble. I told my dispatcher (Gary) if he didn't like it he could kiss my ### and come get the truck. Finally after another month or so I finally took the truck back and asked who I needed to see for a bus ticket home. Asked why I was leaving, you guy's #### near cost me everything I own because of not getting my pay checks to me in a timely fashion and had to fight for my last check because they kept giving me excuses not to pay me until I finally threatend them on the phone to call the IRS and Labor Board. Got my check in the mail three day's later (Saturday). I find them to be the worst so far for a company that will try to take you for a ####### and see if you will do anything about it.

I don't know where Harold196 is getting his info but I can vouch for mine and it's not a place you would want to go to work for. I would look else where.

 

I can understand where you are coming from Skunk, I am not going to defend FFE's actions as I have been screwed over by them on pay in the past. However, what I despise is people who lie in the "facts" they give people. It's bad enough recruiters lie saying the company is so great (when we all know better), but it is just as bad to give false facts to drivers looking for answers. If you will look at some of my previous posts you will see I criticize them fairly while trying to give other answers which are unbiased.

 

I completely understand. I tried and tried to play fair game with them for the three months I worked there but I finally had enough. If you've been there a while then I'm sure you've seen me around. Young guy with piercing's long goatee, at time's a mohawk with shaved sides. Spent a lot of time out on the smoke pourch. Only thing I liked about being there is the Sweet-n-Sour chicken from the Sunny Wok lmao! Couldn't get enough.

But yea, I don't see where this guy is getting his fact's because what he is saying is far from what I've seen there. Safety........ Can't stand any of them at all. They have some major attitude problems. I was at the Pilot in Houston on I-45 a couple week's before I quit and they chewed MY ### out when a Crete driver backed square into my trailer while I was in the back eatting dinner. Another Lisa truck parked next to me rolled down his window and asked if he had just hit me, I said yea. Crete driver was new, barely spoke english and wanted me to leave it alone. "Sorry dude, but you see that truck next to me? It has the same logo and he saw it happen." I'm not going to get my ### in a bind for anything. I called safety with all of his info and they started chewing my ### out like it was my fault. So F.F.E has me a bit concerned about my DAC. Hershy down in Waco did the same thing with a PVC pipe entry gate. It was up and the lady told me to slide my tandems all the way back and she lowered the gate right in front of my truck just as I started to move and was looking back in my mirror to watch my tandems. Popped it off and said it was my fault. That lady was a real b***h though from the second I pulled up.
