hahahahaha, I was gonna go to FFE about 6 years ago. I made it to the second morning of orientation and walked out on them. I knew from the day prior of walking out, that it wasn't the place for me. Should have seen of the guys that took a test drive with us, holy crap, he couldn't drive for nothing, and they passed him. He's probably dead now with the way he drove.

Last year FFE got to keep one tenth of one penny for every dollar they took in, sounds to me like they don't know how to run a business

OK! I'm lost,,, as a company driver that didn't take advances how dose he owe the company anything? Unless he signed somthing that they could recover some type of expense that he caused, like abandoned truck recovery, or truck damage. How dose he owe $$$$? Get a lawyer and sue ém:biggrin_25510:

I applied to this company about a year ago to do a weekend run for an O/O leased on to them and they took over two weeks to get my paperwork through. By then a found another job, never seen anything as ridicules.

One of my girls works, or I should say worked, for FFE and is having a very difficult time getting paid. Her very first paycheck was short two trips. She called the payroll department and was told her scans were not received. Interestingly enough, they paid her for reimbursements on one of the trips they said they did not receive information on. After talking to them on the phone, stopping to re-scan paperwork, then calling to confirm they received the information, they did not pay her at all for her second week of employment, even though they had told her my phone that the shortages from her first week of employment would be on the next check. She didn't receive a check at all the second week, not a single dime in the bank. This week she did receive a paycheck but it is short by several hundred dollars. Given that she had to pay out-of-pocket for scales and tolls, get a purchase order number from FFE for reimbursement, and wait for payday to get HER money back, you would think the company would make every effort to make sure she was being paid correctly. Obviously FFE does not care about the financial well being of their drivers and has developed a culture of postponing payment at every turn. They have just lost a very good driver and I would say to others considering this company, BEWARE, the check is not in the mail.

It was the sign on bonus, he had to agree that if he didn't stay for a certain length of time they had a right to recover a certain portion on the bonus.
