Yes, as it goes, I have heard of FFE's practice of messing up the payroll tricks, I have a friend that started with them in Dec08 and he has ran into that problem more than once. He is staying with them to finish out that so called sign on bonus. It's a shame that so many companies do sch underhanded things to the drivers and continue with no concise. It's hard enough to make a living while being away from home most of the time, and, the thanks from a company that you try to do right by is turn the screw one more time before you go. Prays to you and yours.

I personally wouldn't hire on with anyone where i couldn't jump in my car quick and go to their office and slap them in the head. All these companies offering those so-called bonuses and the bed of roses should be a large red flag to begin with. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Good advice is negative thinking in the trucking industry. Plan for the worse and a solution to get around it. When things don't go right, you are already a head of the game. When things work out good, enjoy it while you can. Don't have the company driver problems but in the owner operator business, other problems occur. Slow pay, terrible rates and rising costs. For an economy going so bad, have you noticed all the new campers pulling their toys around and still large homes being built and sold? Lots of bs going around.

Nothing will ever change, companies will always screw their drivers, and drivers will do everything they can to screw their companies. "we didnt get the paperwork" "we'll look into it" "we will call you back" What's even more amazing is that drivers still act surprised that it's this way.

Im not one to talk bad about companies, i took a driving position with lisa motor lines and they were great, treated you like you were a person, ffe took over and all hell broke loose, they are the worst company i have ever been too, and i come from 15 years in the corporate world and 6 years as a sgt. In the us army, this company is a bag of ####" if it smells like ####, it is ####" they steal from you, lie to you, anything to make your life a living hell, they will do. Here the qualification to work for ffe, 1. No brain at all, 2. Dont care about people at all. 3 jJUST a dumB ####### who will sit in a chair and listen to the phone ring. 4. If you are a dispatcher, make sure you give runs to drivers that cant be done, thats a funny one, if i was a stock holder of this company, i would kill myself, the worst company, no wonder ffe delivery time is only 60%, because they dont know what they are doing, were im from nyc, if i was the boss 3/4 of the people working at ffe, i would firer their ###, they have no clue, if you think im angry, im not, im a well educated 44 yr old man, going back for his master in math, i took this job to get experience, to get a local job here in ny, i have that local union job anyway, i work for a real company that people care about what they are doing, big red flag stay away from this #### ### company, you can forget home time or if you expense something watch out, ffe will try to fight you for it, they will not pay. Last thing before i go, i recieved a letter in the mail from pay roll saying that i owe ffe $ 406 from balances or advancement from the week of june 2009, these peole are so ####### stupid, the last day of work for me was may 25, i never took any advances from ffe, im smart, i kept every copy of my paper work till this day, i knew they would put this on my dac report, which i was told they do
this from preivous drivers. They are ####### with the wrong ny person. Im in the process of complaining to the governor of texas and the bbb, and talk with a local report in texas, this company treat people bad, they dont discrimnate , they screw any color....thats their moto, last thing they tried to claim bankrutcy for the last 2years,,,,,,,i hope they go under,,,stay far away drivers.......i will have my day with ffe,,,,,

thank god for that day that they all go away stop stealing, from the hard working people who care and are educated, see they are so used to dealing with retarted people who will not fight back,,,,,,,,i have a attorney in my back pocket just ready to take them on,,,,,,,and we will see who laughs then,,,,,,me,,,,

god bless and please stay away--take my word......god bless

Not one to talk bad about companies? You're not angry? Educated 44 y/o man?? Sure sounds like it.... Hope when you go back to get that masters degree you ad an English class to that. Proper grammar goes a long way when trying to express an opinion.

Seeing as FFE bought Lisa Motor Lines in 1988 I would say that FFE took them over LONG before you came along. With less than one year in truck driving (according to your profile) I suspect you do know everything when it comes to trucking.

I work for FFE and I am a 12 year experienced driver.

1.) I have a brain. 2.) I care about people. 3.) My FM does not just sit in a chair, he gets things done. 4.) I have not had a run that could not be done.

If the on time rate is 60% I would say it's drivers such as yourself who have this "I almighty" attitude.

LMAO, would you?? New York boy? firer their ###? How about learning to spell, moron.

I wasn't able to forget about getting home for 5 days around Memorial day. I wasn't able to forget getting home for 13 days so I could go to Vegas. They actually got me home early to guarantee I was home for my planned home time. I have been reimbursed all my expenses. Never one fight. And any issue with pay has been handled professionally and in a timely manner. But then, I have the patience to make a call to the right person and work with people to get things done.

The wrong NY person?? Is that supposed to scare someone? Is your last name Soprano? LMAO I'm sure the governor of Texas will set aside his whole schedule to hear from you.

Good luck with that. I don't think you'll be laughing. But I would be laughing at you for sure.

You should just go away and play NY bad ### and realize that life does not revolve around you.

FFE has owned LISA for a long time, they didnt take them over in the year that you worked there. If Lisa was a good company at one time maybe something else happened. But it wasnt FFE taking over. They already had control.

ive worked for several companies like this, this is standard operating proceedure! they wont go under they have been doing buiseness this way since day one. They deal with hundreds of p/o'd drivers just like you each year who think they are the educated one and they are the first to "take them on" they dont care!! just walk away.

when FFE closed down the Lisa Terminal on April 2nd 2009 they did so without warnig or notice to drivers or office personel. most of the office staff were told at 1pm by Russell Stubbs (CEO FFE) we are closing your doors at 2pm, Have your things boxed up and out by 3pm. I am a lease contractor. Originally signed on with Lisa. I am having an extremely hard time with the complete FFE side of things. I am trying to make things work out but it seems as if at every turn there is something else going on. I am changing companies on October 12th this year because I am sick and tired of my family having to do without....
