Screenshot_20200828-023247_Chrome.jpg the circled part is your fifth wheel riser. They come in different heights, yours are rather tall. Get shorter ones

getting those shorter risers from the manufacturer will cost an arm and leg, what you think about just removing the whole fifth wheel assembly and swapping or buying a used fifth wheel as long as I find one with the correct frame width. I seen used fifth wheels go for cheap

I have no idea what the risers cost but by the time you remove your fifth wheel buy a different one, possibly rebuild it and replace on truck i can't see you being to far ahead. But yeah thats definitely an option. Frame width is pretty standard. Never hurts to remove fifth wheel assembly and paint underneath it if truck has much age or rust

I recently bought the truck, it’s at the shop getting the frame and axles painted as we speak, and once that’s done I am going to change out that fifth wheel then paint underneath, so hopefully once I get to that point I will update with a picture.

Why? That is probably one of the best fifth wheels on the market. Buy the low profile saddle from a salvage yard.

Looking at that pic you shouldn't have a problem getting it down to 47-47.5 5th wheel height.

Any truck bone yards around you?

From what I found 295/75/24.5 Lo pro are 41.9” , and 315/80/22.5s are 42.3”. So less than 1/2” difference. I’ve always been around 47”-47.5” max, running 24.5 lo pros. He may not need to change tires.

Call Valley Truck Parts, they’re less than $400 for both risers
