How do you find the model # on these fifth wheels I looked everywhere.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Looks like a Holland F35, but I don’t think it matters, as far as risers go. I’m pretty sure the mounting pins are all the same. Valleys got them, I just called them a few mos back for a friend who had the opposite problem as you. Too bad, you two could have swapped risers.
Bean Jr., Adamali21 and Brettj3876 Thank this. -
haha I will look into it, good thing valley is around the corner, see I never done this type of project before, now once I change out the risers do I have to change out the air pin pump or whatever you call it. The pins that lock the fifth wheel in place.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

I have to cut those frame ramps as well
-
i thought they were closer to 43, a little big shorter then 1124.5.
I do agree with starting with the 5 wheel risers first tho -
I will change risers first, but I am going to end up swapping rims and tires from my other truck because they are in excellent shape and better for long haul highway.

You’re going to have to at least take the pins off.

I’m wondering if you took the fifth wheel off, if the risers will come out of the rail, without removing the 8 bolts, or the stops. I’ve only done one, 20 yrs ago, because my risers were rusted solid in the rails. Had to cut them out. I changed the whole assembly fifth, risers, bracket Everything. Slid it into the rails from the back, and had the stops welded back on. . Be careful if using grinder, and cut off wheel. Almost lost a finger myself, cutting the rusty risers from the rails.
Adamali21 Thanks this.
