I like to learn. From what I understood the Ravens of about the 1995 era rated each of the coil package anchor pullups along the edges of the decking.
The older Freuhaufs you could tie anywhere you can find something to attach to. Who knows what the WLL is on those. What I never did was hook chain or strap onto rub rail itself. It will just peel from it's welding off pockets. -
Ah, i think you nailed it JD4020. One assumes that the anchor point doesnt change what it "feels" pulling against it regardless of whether its a direct or indirect system.
But does the fmsca address rhis point specifically? I'll have to look in my green guide and check. It'd be nice to have handy for roadside checks or BS sessions at work.
