    ok. im still sitting here waiting on one last reference to come though so i can get back out on the road. 2 weeks off sucks. but in a way, its kinda nice to be home for bit. now im about ready to grab a gear and go...............

    Ya played the system with a crook and got robbed.
    The time you lose will be more than the last paycheck.
    Playing with snakes will often get you bit.
    Hope it works out for you if you invest time to chase it.
    May be worth taking your licks, learning and moving on, to a better place.

    we live & learn my last pay was with held also but in my case i still have 3 bols they never got:) i simply told the owner the day i quit in the event you decide not to pay me your company wont recieve payments for any loads i did.

    I have worked as 1099, nothing wrong with calling the irs since 1099 gets reported to the irs anyway by the company. I'm not sure I follow as to the reason for not contacting the irs.
