@Redbeard007 this not a good introduction to Millis. Don't listen to those two fools. Is @keen98 biased? Yeah, probably. But understandably so, he's knee-deep in the program. But he's good and knows what he's talking about. Look man, everyone starts at square one. The smaller the company, the better your experience. I have nothing to gain by siding with him. Am I promoting Millis? Nah, not really. It doesn't benefit me one way or the other. But my experience was good, had no complaints. Be careful who you listen to, that's the best advice I got. You'll be fine there, every bit as good as any other company, and you won't be a nameless number. Hope the best for you, welcome to the brotherhood of the abused.

Here's the last thing I'm saying in this thread. Who would seem to have more knowledge about availability of miles 2 random guys on the internet who noone here knows a dang thing about their work ethic, attitude, common sense, and ability to do this job....or someone like myself whos been here over 3 yrs and have never had issues with miles...i also have 8 guys I've trained that I stay in weekly/bi weekly contact with them all and none of them are complaining about no miles, also have several guys I've met and talk to often and they arent complaining, and the long time posters here arent complaining about miles.....hmmmmmmm

I honestly don't know what you're talking about. I'm not even that good of a driver and I'm probably far from being my dispatcher's favorite. On the weeks that I'm out all 7 days I consistently get 2500+ miles.

Yes it slows down a little bit in the winter. But show me one trucking company where it doesn't.

Came up an hour short on my 70 tonight or I would have had 3700 for the week. So guess I will be starting off this week with 600 miles logged on day one.

I go Monday for my dot physical, and I'm gonna try to take the permit test as well after. The DMV here doesn't give out the study books so I've been practicing online. Has anybody took the CDL test recently in NC?
