Finally got feed up with life,

    So I bought a truck. Leased on with landstar officially last Monday.
    Now if I can home more then its all worth it. If not ill sell the truck and haul milk locally. The wifes medical is very better. So hopefully in 12-13 months I can buy a bike.
    Thanks every one for all the knowledge and wisdom. In the past and in the future.

    Also just an FYI, the latest DAT forecast has rates at their peak right now and then backing off toward normal over the next year. So don't get discouraged if you find your rate per mile shrinking as you settle in. Get out there and get the getting while the getting is good.

    . I dont know how buying a motorcycle state ment can make me look like a troll, I'm guessing miscommunication on my part. Sorry bout that. And thats no garuntee. It all depends on my wife's medical, and my ability to keep a solid income.

    I bought the 2016 cascadia from my boss, short nose DD13. It runs and maneuvers great. I have over a year in it as a employee. So I know the truck well, and all the work that has been done to it.

    Landstar ranger. I started running it just over 400k on the miles. I bought it at 522511 miles.

    Oh ok well congrats then. Just be careful not to fall into the trap that people sometimes do. Get started, money is good, go buy a new Harley, car for the ol lady, hot tub, etc and then things turn bad and all of a sudden your in financial trouble. You gotta be very disciplined for the first few years especially.
