Stick with UPS. I currently work in the oilfield, on a rig, and our schedule used to be 14 on 7 off... now it’s like 2 days on 7 days off lol. No exaggeration I was off work over a week to come back to work yesterday and be told we only had one job this week... 2 days of work.
wait until it picks back up, then give it a shot. -
I have seen the same thing happen, watched a guy quit SEFL years ago in Florida, went to North Dakota, got laid off shortly after. How hard is it to get a feeder Team run at UPS?Radman Thanks this.

Package drivers in Jersey made $28 an hour in 2014. Plus Time and half after 8. Time and half after 40 hours. The feeder drivers max out at $34 an hour in 2014. Plus the pension. If they turn you into a driver it's great. One of the highest paid truck driving jobs in the country.Last edited: Oct 13, 2020

My friend got hired on straight as a sleeper team driver. In the Denver area if you want to be a feeder driver you must be a sleeper team driver. It’s the only way now to get hired off the streets without starting on the dock in Denver. They are pushing this team thing. You can get hired off the street as a package van driver also now in Denver.Trucking_Surfer Thanks this.

Ok great, thanks for the heads up. I've seen UPS freight hiring teams, but I think that's different?
