If Prime is governed at 62mph and deemed slow, how fast are super truckers driving, and does gas mileage matter?texasbbqbest Thanks this.
-
That's 62 on flat ground with no traffic coming and going. I had a job where I was governed to 65 and in real terms it meant I was averaging about 58 mph. It sucked.
darthanubis Thanks this. -
as fast as the Speed limit and safety allows, and no on the fuel mileage, alot of companies don't caredarthanubis and texasbbqbest Thank this.

I hold around 70-75 depending on where I am, The run I do keeps me in Wyoming and Idaho all the time, So normally 75 in Wyoming and 70 in Idaho. Truck avg's between 6.5 to 7.5 (If the wind aint kicking)Highway101, darthanubis and pete1 Thank this.

Most contracts are bid on a 57 MPH basis , I have a few trucks that can run in the triple digits but they never get to stretch their legs so to speak anymore but not many SUPER TRUCKERS could keep up to the light of their TAIL LIGHTS
texasbbqbest, Highway101 and darthanubis Thank this. -
Did the sleep test, and was able to sleep ok, surprised me but they got the results they were looking for. Not a real problem.
texasbbqbest and 123456 Thank this. -
