Just goes to show how many people in this country lack common sense and how many of those people are in denial of their common sense deficit. Lots of people think they're smart. Sadly, most of them are wrong.

Because you can't fix stupid. We've been ignoring Darwin's Theory of Natural Selection for way too long.

And the stupid warning labels on everything nowadays don't help.

Who doesn't know that vehicles can roll, not to make toast in the bath tub, and eating batteries is a bad idea.

But I read a diet book that said if you eat batteries the acid helps you digest your food quicker.

Nothing wrong with credit cards. I use mine as much as I can. Pay off balance within a week. No interest, since I pay off early. No fees but I get cash back and it helps credit.

They should all find the answers to those questions from first hand experience.

I used mine for most of my truck repairs. That way you can determine when and how you pay.
My last bill was around $14k. Payed it off the next month, (mostly because $12k was a claim for a bad repair that was reimbursed. ).
Point is, people all over here say you have to have $#$$$#$##$, to get started. You don't. You need good credit. And Dave Ramsey would advise against it.
But, hey, he's a millionaire and I'm not. So, who you gonna believe?

I know Dave lost me years ago.

I was listening one day, and he was talking about a Bible study group he belonged to at his church. He, and 6 or 7 other guys, met on a regular basis, read and discussed the Bible, along with talking about personal issues that the group members might be having, issues of the day nationally, locally, etc. He said the group were good enough friends that if one of them developed a "big head', that the rest of them could knock that person back down to reality. That, to me, sounded to me like a decent group to be associated with.

But then Dave said that all the members were multi millionaires, like him. His words? " I can't take advice from someone worth less than me". Not take financial advice, but advice. so, if you don't equal his net worth, he doesn't care what you think about anything is what I got out of it.
