Not all DOT line is cross country. There are some very regional loads that involve live load/unload.
I have to agree that picking now to go o/o would be "gutsy." I'm not sure how bright it would be however.

I've got a bud that left Interstate a couple of years ago. Only reason was that his wife no longer wanted to drive. He told me he was quite happy with the company.

If you do not mind pulling reefers give Earl Henderson a Call they treat tedams VERY WELL pay would be around.45-47 cpm to start have a pet program and also pay you IIRC .005 cpm for all miles you ran in the year on your anniversry as a bounus paid hoildays vactions and such are also there Insurance is decent to for drivers.

My hubby found out about a local job hauling US Mail for 22 an hour and he's going over there to see if they will or won't hire him. If they do, we may end up both working for that company eventually. Or I may end up taking an inhome job and focusing on my son for the moment. I'd prefer to go back over the road, and save up money to build a house on my land >.> But my hubby wants to stay home more. We will see.
