People have beem advising ypu against teaming with someone you don't know because it usually ends in failure within 6 months. That means no sign on bonus and usually a week off the road as you swap trucks. New drivers who start out solo tend to make almost as much as new team drivers who don't make he full year as a team driver. If you factor in the agravation factor you might end up "making" less.
As to your original question - look up your local cdl schools and break out your best pick up lines.

Im sorry disregard....good luck in your search!

maybe you should find a company that only drives teams, this way they will find you one. Easy as pie.

If you want to team, do that. I have teamed with Schneider. You get the best equipment, best loads, coast to coast. Call them and tell them. Or ask around at you orientation. You have been in close quarters with other people. So you know what it's like. Yes, you will make more money. Go, Go. Every once in awhile I will go with a newby to break them in. Only for a few months though. I work Texas regional now.

There's a website that handles this. www.findacodriver.com
Has anyone out there used them? Any feedback?
Have not yet tried it. Don't know if they charge a fee or what. If you use it, please let me know what you think. I'm in exactly the same situation and understand your being willing to make some sacrifices for a better opportunity.
Much luck.
