absolutely lol the volvo they put me in had the sink and console taken out so i've got that big open space in front of the bunk behind the driver's seat so the 50 watt marshall fits perfectly in there lol

yep lol never can have too many watts hehehe seriously though the 50 watt has alot more definition in the sound quality at lower volumes than the 15 vox i started with and the vox kept falling over at speed on the road whereas the marshall has enough weight to stay upright even on those sections of 95 that are as smooth as a dirt road lol and doubles as a nice table when i'm shut down for the day.
thankfully i get to do my 10 at alot of shippers/receivers so i'm not bothering the guy next to me trying to sleep.......most of the time there isn't anybody around when i'm shut down. -

The Vox kept falling over. LOL. No, you can't have too many watts. But ... any thoughts on Fender's Blues Junior III? Only 15 watts and good glassy clean tones at low volume. I'm about ready to shoot my Deluxe VM (40 watts); just tired of it, I guess, and I want a small amp. Let me amend that: my wife wants me to have a small amp.

yeah it has only been less than a year but without knowing my previous background prior to the job i left to come to the truck, laughing your ### off is a little premature and assumptive.....but i do find it funny soooo many on here presume to know things about the posters that they don't.....however, given my respect for your previous posts and experience, which i do follow, i can forgive it. i'm sure you do find it funny.
i have spent alot of time living on the road prior to the managment job i left to come to the truck, and find myself VERY glad to be back on the road.....not to mention i'm one of the few who DID my homework and the legwork to find a company who ISN'T a BFI, who actually runs a good outfit, has me home every weekend, pays better than average for newbies, and has very few complaints from it's drivers. there aren't many like that out there, but i went in with my eyes open and got one of the few good gigs out there......I knew where i didn't want t go from the start and didn't go there......so I get to do a little laughing of my own at the many who didn't.
it may be less than a year, although quickly coming up on a year, and i made a good choice. some of us it just suits. the others whine and complain. like so many things in life....it is what you make of it and the attitude you bring to it....and i don't miss having those union crybabys whining at my office door because they had to pick up one more box than someone elseZoltan1a, ac120, Motownfire and 1 other person Thank this. -
