    This def/dpf delete has consequences
I deleted mine few months ago and have had to breathe fume in the cab, which makes me ill all time. The situation gets worst with truck heater running than airconditioner. The engine breathes the same gas too (fan running even in the cold). I SURE will have to reinstall the def and def before it kills me.
    DEF/DPF Bypass highly un-recommend.

I don't recommend tampering with emission systems either but the lack of those parts on your engine is not the reason for the fumes. It was a poor quality job because you now have an exhaust leak somewhere. There is almost zero difference between a stripped-down emissions engine and a pre-2003 engine. Someone forgot to install a gasket or tighten a clamp somewhere.

And wherever that is will reveal itself in due time with a black mark.

sorry but your post is kinda silly. That means you have an exhaust leak. You should never smell fumes. Did you run th pipes into your cab or something??
I run an old cat and i have plumes of black smoke coming out of pipes. It all goes up in the air. Plenty of people run old motors and never once smell fumes. Very silly post. Exhaust leak there pal

I've had an emissions systems check and tailpipe sniffer at the westbound Bloomsbury scale house one time. It wasn't any problem since it was an emissions compliant Cascadia but it got me to thinking who they were actually looking for. Pre-emission trucks aren't banned yet in NJ not even at the ports. So I guess they were looking for "modders" and scofflaws.
