Start shopping for another company ASAP. Lots of opportunities in Tennessee. If he stays where he is, he will end up out of a job and no other company will hire him; his DAC will be bad; "Out of route miles, not following company policy" and "Preventable accident" even though he was rear ended.
Fines for accidents??

They charged him the 2 dollars a mile because they said it was unauthorized home time....He had earned 2 home days and someone even called on Saturday from maintenance to be sure he would make his appt on Monday but his dispatch was the one at fault and I'm sure she just covered her tracks! Ridiculous...Im so tired of it. You all are great and I have great respect for each and every one of you.

What company is he driving for?

wow that's unreal heck had one dispatcher tell me to go home (first week with them) we was supposed to be home every weekend it would have been 1400 miles out of route I said no I will do this one weekend out as by the time I got home I would have had to leave to make the delivery I could not have imagined paying 2 a mile for that sure would have quite the first payment I saw.
There is no reason any company driver should have to pay to go home or if they get hit the company has insurance for that. Leave ASAP terrible company10apryl Thanks this. -
Boyd Brothers....)-: Thought they were gonna be great. He loved his trainer and his training time. First few weeks...he loved it and has honestly had no complaints other than the fines, being uninformed, and his dispatch not keeping in contact. The pay is decent when they dont take a huge portion of it....They are great about family emergencies although, I do have to say his Mama passed two weeks ago and they called the day after the service and asked if he was ready to get back out...Only complaint about family time. Thought that was a little "Much"
