Mine was both arms and both wrists, and I can't say it didn't help for the numbness, but they're still not right and if I over do it sometimes they'll stay numb for a month. But I sure have some impressive scars to show for it:biggrin_2554:...

Maybe armrests could aggrevate ulnar nerve??Most of my numbnes is from decades old injuries but after discovering the chiropractor I felt alot better.Havent had a wallet in my pocket for about 20 years.Maybe I shouldnt use my armrests so much...

Ulnar nerve involvement sounds as a good possibility-as this will affect your pinky and ring finger - try stretching your neck to the opposite side in case you are getting some nerve impingement in your neck. It could be something like you are 'leaning' your neck/body to that side while you are driving.

I agree that you need to see someone about this. Don't mess around with your nerves as continued injury can lead to damage.

    good luck!

You guys might want to try relaxing your grip on the wheel. Many people won't realize how hard they grip it. It's a common issue amongst motorcycle riders whose fingers go numb while riding.

Possible nerve damage and/or carpel tunnel syndrome as others have said.

I have both and have had a numbness in my left pinky and finger for years. Along with numbness along the outer side of my left arm.

I've given up riding bikes because of it :( My hands go totally numb after about 15 minutes of riding, from the vibration.

There is corrective surgery, if you elect to go that route.

One other thing, you might consider taking off those fingerless gloves. :biggrin_25522:

I have carpal tunnel and problems with my elbows. When I was searching for relief other than the surgery route, I found that regular use of cinnamon took care of my problems in those areas.
As for the hands or any body part going numb from poor circulation, using red pepper on food helps because the red pepper naturally moves blood throughout your body.
I also found that limiting sugar intake helped in those areas.
Although I hesitate to say this to a bunch of drivers, but caffeine magnifies pain so when you are susceptible to having pain if you cut back on caffeine your muscles will relax and your nerves will settle and the pain will go away.
