Back in the late 90's I delivered a load at the old Water St market in Chicago. It was around midnight, I was beat, so I backed up against a wall and went to bed. About 3 am somebody starts banging on my door. Guess who? State police: 'we want to search your truck'. Just because I had an oddball delivery time, so they knew I just had to be running drugs instead of potatoes. They looked for less than a minute and said 'gee, there's nothing here' and left. I was so mad I almost went to Springfield to chew on the director's butt. Moral to the story: it can happen to you, especially if you act squirrely (I don't).

Here's a little more detailed map. In the end though I don't care, I believe in the 2nd amendment and that takes precedence over BS state rules anyway.
-
Cliff Notes: If you can legally own a gun in Ohio, you may carry openly, sans permit, including non-residents...EXCEPT in a vehicle, that requires an Ohio (or reciprocating states) CCW permit.
-
Tell that to the judge, dude. You can believe in flying pigs, but it won't get you around the law.
-
Ah. Well, that lets me out. My License to Carry is PA, and we don't share reciprocity. Can't carry in my vehicle.
-
And I have been before the judge before over this stuff and will be again before my life is over but I won't be carried by 6 before I'm judged by 12.
-
There's no fame and glory in that

Disclaimer: Below you will find my opinion its not right and its not wrong, its just my opinion.
Sadly over the last several generations our history as a nation has not been properly taught. People are ignorant of the other writings of the Authors of the 2nd Amendment. Some people confuse the words Militia with Army then go on about this clause cancelling this right. To understand this better you need to understand what a militia was in the 18th century. I will not get into this any deeper, because there are tools available to everyone reading this to do their own research. Just know this. One of the most important things our founding fathers knew was the citizens must have the right and means to throw off a repressive government.
Oh no I must have just violated a half dozen Federal laws. I will now wait patiently for the Federal Marshals to come arrest me for making terrorist threats.rabbiporkchop and catalinaflyer Thank this. -
I'm pretty sure they're reciprocal...OH honors PA permits, and PA regards OH as a "statutory reciprocity under 6106(b)(15) of the Uniform Firearms Act" (per the PA Attorney General's page, anyhow). So, I think you'd be ok for the Buckeye...

Not looking for fame or glory but not going to allow myself, my family or anyone I'm with to be a victim by someone who doesn't care about the laws either.
