i thought CCX was west coast...and Con-way was east coast, of the same company..???? or both owned by one other company..??

man i dunno, over the years losing count of all the buy outs, mergers, bankruptcies, owners getting jail time for fudging logs, (the CEO in MD, do you recall that one??) i know i do, forgot the company and his name........ and so on and so forth....

CCX was ConWay Central. There was a CWX (western). and a CWS (south) I believe.

Like most dash cams it’s constantly recording over themselves. They only save the videos if the camera is triggered. I’m not saying they can’t watch you live, I don’t know if they can or not, the video recording is pretty simple.

 

Yeah, that was the beginning of Freightliner.

 

The forward facing ( towards the road) films none stop it is only the inward facing camera ( towards driver) that only runs periodically. So any incident that occurs will be on film we also had a side camera running down passenger side with the camera facing backwards. What they should also have had was a camera facing backwards down the drivers side. The truck I currently have has 5 cameras it does not bother me in the least. Not sure why a camera should bother anyone but each to their own I suppose.

 

It's annoying when a company flat out tells you "no one is watching you", but the evidence shows different.

 

If you have nothing to hide take down all the blinds and curtains from your house windows and don't forget to remove the bathroom door too. Everybody deserves privacy. Forward cameras have bonafide benefits. Driver facing is about control just like face diapers.

 

They did you a favor OP and leaving them because they were treating you like an animal is respectable. Good luck on your endeavors.
