Yep but if it is a 1 truck operation. The driver can still be liable as we all know... Better to just be a sole proprietor... This is not from my personal knowledge from road dog radio

    NOT TRUE.

The llc only protects you to a point, in the case of fraud or intent to commit fraud like running the company into the ground there is no protection.

To the OP, what is a certified instructor/trainer?

    Certified by who?

    What is a lease dispatcher?

Did you escalate it up the food chain to HR or some other person above dispatch?

I think you will find regardless of the LLC or LLP you will be required to sign a personal guarantee on the note.

If you are a solo O/O driving your own truck,.. LLC, S-Corp offers ZERO protection from being sued.

Oh. Then I would talk to a lawyer about personal assets being put in some kind of trust or in wife's name.

    Actually I do.

Paying off debts like the 32,000 dollar student loan does wonders for your freedoms down the road free from Uncle Sam's other tools of enforcement when you default in the future.

As others have stated, this isn't true. If you drive the truck you can be sued as well.
