    LOL. Little melodramatic are you?

I never realized a $40 +/- a year donation to an organization qualified me for such heartfelt sympathy!

It isnt the money. It is the insanity of granting them any voice, and thinking they are serving your interest.

I save $65 a year on DAT Truckers Edge by using my membership, $25 +/- more than I pay for the fancy medallion sticker.

So for me it is about the money ;-)

Call G.F.LaCaeyse in Grinnell IA, Tell them the truth you have a decent chance, there more toward the old school side of trucking. Just learn from your mistakes, not the end of the world, but while drinking off duty in a parked truck is not illegal, it is against most company policies. Never sit in the drivers seat if the key is in the ignition.

I’m thinking that Unfortunately you fell into a trap. You brought booze into the truck. It was a test. You failed it. The company I’m sure patted your trainer on th back for his dedication. He played you. Karma on him. Put it past you. Its done. Now you certainly know what not to do.

Moving on, you now are looking to get out of this mess. Fair enough. But there is no getting out of it. Just keep moving forward. We all make mistakes. Some companies will care -some care not so much. If your honest about iit maybe Someone will think “I’m gonna hire this guy cause he won’t repeat that again” . It will be an old incident in no time. Just keep applying for work.
Thanks for the heads up. Hard lessons. Best of luck
