You will never get out of it. It is 100% x 100% your fualt. You are 100% respondible fornyour actions 100% of 100% of the time. Untill you understand this and own it. No one will touch you. Not because you had a drink in the truck... Ok most wont touch you just because of that... But the rest wont because you will just brake one of their policys and blame someone else for it.

I'm not blaming him for me drinking. That's on me. I'm blaming him for misleading me. He took advantage of it from the beginning. Almost 200 hours of him raking in double pay, and sleeping in the back, or playing video games and not doing any mentoring whatsoever. Then with only 23hrs left to go, he screwed me over. I drove up and over I-70 after a snowstorm without him so much as lifting a finger to assist me. Instead he drank diet mountain dew, ate funions, and slept and farted the entire journey. I did evertything and he did nothing but #### me over in the end. I have never said I wasnt at fault. You on the otherhand have nothing better to do but try and berate me. I ask for help and you are a viral infection of hatred and bile! If I could go back, I would have never had one ####ing drop, but it is what it is.

To the OP, when you were in orientation did the instructor clarify that Swift has a zero tolerance for alcohol consumption in their trucks? Is it in their handbook?

Im sure it is, but right after receiving the handbook, All I did was drive. if there was time for reading, it was when I slept. There was no team driving during this.

Did anyone in orientation, you know, an instructor, someone from HR, safety, etc, say that Swift has a zero tolerance for alcohol consumption in one of their trucks?

But yet your still blaiming him.... Lmao...

I could careless if you drank off duty.
Could careless if you smoke weed n crack 31 days before you had a UA and passed it with flying colors.

But to sit here and feed me a bunch of BS about oh my mentor said it was ok to drink in the truck on my 10hr brake... Feel sorry for me... Pfff

You knew it was a 0 tolerance...
    You did it anyways
Mentor rated you put (what a douch bag)
But you wasnt tricked into it.
You thought he wasnt going to say anything and was going to get away with it.
Now someone with1/2 brain would of made.sure the mentor was having a drink too... That alone should of put a Danger Danger will Robinson alarm going off in your head when he wasnt...

    This is 100% not 50% not 75% not 95%...
100% on you! Own it and grow up.

They may have, but I was in and out of orientation several times. They always had everyone running to drug tests, or physicals, or go in the back room to fill out forms as the presentations were shown. They do have a zero tolerance, but I thought that only applied to while you were on duty. Or at least thats what I was led to believe.
