Would you recommend other truck drivers "keep up with car traffic" when going down one of the most famous speed traps in the Southeast? Mont Eagle is famous for ticketing truck drivers for "speeding" in the truck speed zone and also ticketing truck drivers that ignore the MANDATORY BRAKE CHECK/rest area at the top of the hill.

If you had a CB on you might have avoided the whole incident, besides the obvious way. We all make mistakes. LEARN from them. I thank God my mistakes, some of them MUCH worse than yours, were often not noticed BUT I learned from them and stopped making them. Many people when they have a close call or bad outcome, brush it off as bad luck and just keep on doing the thing, or thinking the same way, as that which got them to have the close call or bad outcome.

It can take a little time before it reflects on your PSP. I'm guessing 30 days after the event it should show on a PSP if it will show on the PSP. I don't remember where I got 30 days to show up.

If I were to get hired somewhere before that shows, would that company still find out down the road?

I don't understand what that means, but I'm sure it's my fault.

It’s done that way so it’ll damage the carrier’s safety score. It’ll also jack up your carrier’s insurance come renewal time.. That’s thousands of dollars they’ll have to deal with now.

So just to clarify, you did not get a ticket? If you didn't get a ticket you may be ok. I think you got a violation because you were going down Monteagle. I will need some clarification on that as it's not making a lot of sense how you worded it
