Fired for idling during summer

I saw black smoke coming out of what looked like a fuel tank from a Schneider truck nearby. So i got out and banged on the poor guys door and woke him up and told him your truck is smoking!

Felt kind of dumb when I found out it was an APU. Lol

I apologized and he said dont worry about it, I appreciate you looking out.

 

Mine has a DPF.

 

Well that's a start.
I'm not haten on you Dave or anyone else that has one.....call it APU envy.
I just hate the MF'ers that designed that POS.

Frankly, I just hate them worse than reefers.

Kinda wish I had one, but I still hate them.

 

I overfill mine with oil and keep the air filter dirty so it blows smoke constantly. I also put holes in the muffler and I keep the the cover loose to create the maximum db level. Annoying people helps me to sleep better.

 

You would make a good reefer driver.

Hmmmm. Not sure. I was too busy emptying my pee bottle out the window to notice anyone over the noise. We’re you the guy with the fan that kicked on every 7 minutes, air tanks sneeze every two minutes and regening truck every 45 minutes who also had a reefer set on variable?
