Your Mega did you a GIANT favor firing you.....I'll explain.

Now..You can apply at these smaller, more reputable companies that don't use that stupid DAC, Plus you;'ll get better pay and benefits.

The Megas don't need you- And you certainly don't need them.

    sealevel and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

So, you had four accidents in a bit over a year. Then fired for violating company policy?

These accidents need to STOP or you are going to find your job prospects in this business will start to dry up. I am more concerned about why you have a history of an accident every 3 months? I highly recommend you solve this first. Fix it soon!

I’ve done a u turn. Customer is 5 miles down a road. Road is closed after customer (1500feet or so) no right turn because of angle. So I did what other 3 drivers did turn left go to barricades and do u turn safely. Think of it like a dead end roundabout
Other then that. Don’t do it

    D.Tibbitt and OldeSkool Thank this.

I think I may have better luck with a Class B job. I’m also considering expedited and sprinter van jobs. But I will try all companies mentioned.

I would have thought they would have given me a second chance after some safety training. Especially considering I was with them for over a year. But they are strict on this policy. I was told they fired another driver this week for too many U-turns.

Doesn't matter about DAC. These small carriers are still required per part 391.23 to get that employment history and make it a part of their driver qualification file. All DAC does is make getting that info easier.

    Not necessarily.........

I Wanted to get in at Amoco oil (Now BP) When I was 18 outta high School- Punch the clock ,Drive Forklift loading supersacks into burner.- 8 hours plus OT if Wanted.

oh Yeah- I WANTED THAT- Couldn't get in.... Everyone else WANTED that in the 80's...

Same with the steel mills here- Mid 1980's..Forget about it- Gotta know someone to get in.

60's ande 70's was different- You can get in and manage raising a family driving cadillacs and smoking big cigars.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Central NJ, near Edison. I’m actually right by Roadtex, so I will try them first.
