There is one U turn I made in downtown Baltimore near Spring Gardens on the Annapolis road. That particular U turn was very bad. The absolute worse ever. I managed it without scratching anything. And feel thankful that in those days there was no video, no cells, no internet no nothing. If the boss did not hear about it it did not happen. That would be my saving grace as well as his. (The boss)
I think any company stupid enough to enact law not to do U turns are a problem themselves. I would have quit for such banal policy making. You tell me where you want that truck what day with the load, I decide everything else unless you want to drive it too. /snarky.Bud A. Thanks this. -
It wasn't THE uturn that got you fired. It was everything else PLUS the uturn.alds, Studebaker Hawk, Feedman and 3 others Thank this.

I don't mean no harm, but you shouldn't drive nothing more than a tricycleTruckingdunk, Studebaker Hawk, snowman_w900 and 1 other person Thank this.

There's a company in Florida that hires non-cdl drivers for Promaster vans to run 48 states.
J&M Nationwide Delivery - Hollywood, FL
Bud A. and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
Nothing against you per say, but I have never thought of trucks as rolling death or 80,000 pound missiles. They have 10 brake chambers, drums and shoes. Stops really well when driven correctly. Just a pet leave of mine. We drive trucks and most don't have nuclear warheads mounted on them.
80,000 pounds of rolling death? Dude made a uTurn.alds, Canadianhauler21, Bud A. and 5 others Thank this. -
No, it doesn't.Canadianhauler21, Bud A., FoolsErrand and 5 others Thank this.

I couldn't find a website for these guys. I was just curious to see how 48 state delivery in a van works. It's like my UPS truck but long haul lol. You know anywhere they have info up that I may not be looking?

I think you’re right. But as a new driver
Looks good. Will check them out for sure. Also going to try Panther and Bolt Express.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Imo, they found you to be too much of a risk and were watching you closely for any reason to let you go.Bean Jr. and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this.
