    I have never been fired from a trucking job before!

    What happened was....
    From my thread, the adventures of Bolt Goat.

    Michigan. Sign said 60. Bolt set his cruise to 62 and coasted along with the flow of traffic...none of whom apparently saw the 50mph sign.

    Lucky Goat's number came up. 5-0 lit em up. A warning (so he cant fight it) for 62 in a 50 construction zone.

    Bolt policy....park it where you are and go home. You're fired.

    Well, hello...Bolt lives in Corpus Christi. Truck turned in in Toledo. Bolt's kit and caboodle and butt plunked in the parking lot.

    @Chinatown ... yikes... now I have a warning from 4/19 for 62 in a 55 and just today a warning for 62 in a 50 construction zone.

    I haven't had a ticket since I started driving in 2003. All of a sudden I'm looking for work with a hit a year.

    Gack. will i have to shop the bottom feeders?. Have tanker n hazmat as well as dry van. And of course standard transmission. Had a 3 year gap 2015 thru 2017 and went back to jbhunt October 2017. Took this job with Bolt a year ago last June.

    I live in Corpus Christi Texas. Help a goat..er..girl out?

    Did the cops call the company or something?

    Did you tell them? If so, Why since you didn't even get a ticket?

    I got a warning once, drove straight through a town that didn't have the truck detour signs clearly posted.

    I didn't say ####, and nobody ever asked me about it either.

    It was on an inspection form. Required by law to turn in within 24hrs. Cop was a sadist.

    It's not just a warning, it put a big hit on the company safety score

    As a past tow truck driver/fire fighter and a now a owner op. You speed in a construction zone you should be hung upside down by your genitals.

    @UturnGirl , I sent you a PM. In addition, how about FCC? They sound like a good outfit.

    UturnGirl Thanks this.
