That isn't even a bad record. Not good either, but you definitely can find a job. Generally in these situations the bigger a company is the harder time you'll have.

I resist refrigerator work because I am honest to God unable to stay awake between the hours of midnight and 4am. If I do it (and occasionally one must) I'm messed up for the next 2 days. I wish it were not so but even when I was young I could not adjust my darn bio-clock.nredfor88, homeskillet, FoolsErrand and 1 other person Thank this.

Along this subject line....What’s up with interstate 70 for the last 200 miles before you get to Ohio. It’s all “under construction” 200 miles approximately at 55 mph speed limit. Only problem is there’s NO construction going on anywhere. Now I get iT, they set the construction zones out ahead before they start but 200 miles worth? Out of those 200 miles it was maybe 8 miles that was actually under construction. The rest of it seems like a speed trap. The troopers hiding out about every 10 miles along the route. The second you cross over into Ohio? Speed goes up to 70mph and the roads are even rougher. LOL Makes no sense other than a ploy to create ticket revenue. If you’re driving through there over the next few weeks your best not go over about 59 mph for 200 freaking miles or they will nail you. I counted about 50 people pulled over through that section. Many of them trucks. Seems wrong to me.

Generally I agree. MI though likes to use signs "when workers present" for their construction zone speed. Well, one guy 2 miles up ahead counts.
It's a catch 22. Go 45 and no one working, you are impeding traffic. Go 60 and someone is a mile up the road, you're speeding in a construction zone.mjd4277, Coffey, Gearjammin' Penguin and 6 others Thank this. -

They did it last year too. If you go through everyday, which unfortunately for me I have been with oversize for the last month, you'd see it's constantly moving. Right now they're extending the shoulders and fixing weak spots to eventually move traffic to one side. The construction and restrictions are all listed til 2024 which gives you an idea of what kind of major job it will be. It's about to get ripped out, which it's needed for a long, long, long time.
I've been doing Indy to Columbus every day. About 1/3 of my miles are on two lane roads right noow, with the majority having nothing to do with restrictions, if that tells you just how good of a time it has been for me. I can't wait until this job is done.
DOT is all over it after 4 kids were killed by a doped out truck driver a couple of weeks ago. Just one look at his mugshot made you realize you didn't need a toxicology report to know what happened. It definitely wasn't his first rodeo at the dope show.
