Did you apply to each company one at a time or from a recruiting website?
In other words, How did JB Hunt know you're looking for a job?
How did Schneider know you're looking for a job?
I'm asking because your answer may help other drivers in a similar situation.

Oh sorry, I applied to each job one at a time. I got the Driver Pulse app that made it easy for me to auto fill my application.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

That's what I was looking for. Glad to know the app works and is successful.

The only thing that bums me out is they have no pet policy, so I will have to leave my dog home. But I can’t be picky at this point since I am walking on thin ice.

Send gourmet dog food to the dog via mail-order. This way the dog knows you love and miss it.

Actually it isn’t, outside of the exception you cited, in general unhooking requires a risk of an incident. Unless it is requested by the site itself that the trailer is unhooked and the truck pulled away, then it should stay hooked. If the place has yard dogs, then unhooking it outside the dock and then the yard dog takes the trailer and puts it into and takes it out of the slot, which then they assume all responsibility for the trailer and load.

I think you'll like flatbed. I did flatbed running 48 states & Canada in all weather/all seasons. Did just fine and have no bad memories of it. Did tarping in all weather also. No complaining from me; I like the challenge and refuse to lose.
