That I honestly don't know as 2 weeks ago I got flu virus in FL and that put me out of action for like 11 days.Basically I make around $2000 every week.Sometimes it's $1800 Sometimes $2600 a week. What I don't like is that they keep me on these short runs and I don't get paid for pick ups and deliveries. My previous job was Chicago-somwhere and straight back so only 3 unpaid stops max.

Well....you know it's reefer. My quickest ever stop with dry van was literally 6 minutes in and out.Not possible with reefer. It's not about driving some ridiculous number of miles.I don't think I ever drove over 3500 miles a week with them (my best ever was 5400 miles in 7 days btw) and I mean 7 days to make $2600.It's about keeping up with those freaking appointments. They pay detention too and I get $50 extra for not using PA turnpike every time I bypass it.

It's interesting that the OP didn't answer my questions.

O/O's who had been drivers should just know what's a good pay.
Seems as soon as they go O/O they forget a lot

Have you tried owning a truck? Do you know what it takes to run a profitable business? Go get a truck, start your MC and pay your driver $100k to keep him happy

No and I would not buy a truck.
When I look around and see these drivers nowadays, I would not hire one.
If you cannot pay a driver a good wage you should not run the business.
You could pay many drivers 100k and you would not be happy as an owner.
I'm in this business now nearly 38 years and have seen too much ####

Well exactly, you have lots of experience, found a good gig and think everyone should make the same money as you. I doubt that over 30 years all you had was the highest paying jobs in the industry.
$70-80k is a very good salary for many people out there with 2-3 years experience, especially if they don't live in a high cost of living area
