Reefer especially ltl is where the moneys at for example picked up a load of cheese out of wisconsin 22 pallets going to s.jersey at 2.85 per mile then picked up 2 pallets that broker desperately needed moved also to jersey paid 1600 to truck and when the ecomony tanks reefers still move as usual people need to eat.

No shows how much you know about reefers just keep doing that dry van thing.I go to dietz and watsons in vineland get there at 5 out by 6-630 and thats also picking up our products there too.$1 a mile sounds like a van load to me.Mr.X Thanks this.

I was a Reefer driver for Shaffer and had the privilege going delivering to NJ many times.
There's always big rates to the Northeast... but what you gonna get out of there is the question. -
All of our ltl comes out of the northeast as i live here same shippers everyweek.You have to get away from the big companies

Yeah last winter I pretty much took my pick of the 3.00 a mile loads in the NE, went to Tx, 90 mile bounce and took a load back to the NW (home) @ 2.44. First of the year I stayed at the house during that 2.00 a mile nonsense.poppapump1332 Thanks this.
