So making a true statement about a TMC driver driving at excessive speed in the Cottonwood Alabama Loves, is considered inappropriate when it's true?
I hope the driver see's this and slow's down to a reasonable speed. It would be a real tragedy to run over and kill someone in the truck stop parking lot.
Would you like for me to post the time and date when I observed this wreckless behavior? Doesn't TMC have Qualcom on their trucks? So therefore if I post the date and time, the safety department could match the date and time with a fuel purchase. They probably could track the truck driving at that speed in the truck stop.
And for the hecklers in the peanut gallery. I have never applied to TMC. I don't think they are a bad outfit by any means. They would probably be glad to hire a driver with a clean driving record, the variety of experience and the 1.2 million accident free miles that I have been lucky to establish over the years.

Finished my final day of orientation, last two days were filled with hands on load securement training. I learned to secure lumber ,shotgun and suicide coil, greasy bar, flatbar, pipe and tubing, palletized, insulation, and roofing loads using an assortment of 5/16 chains and snap and ratchet binder setups, and 4" and 2" in straps with a variety of edge protection devices and other devices such as coil racks with mats... I learn best hands on, starting Monday Im out with my driver trainer for two weeks then back up to Des Moines for release on my own...

First day with trainer, started kind of slow due to someone stealing his tarp from a Pilot TS in Dallas... Drove to Firestone in Corsicana to pick up a load of insulation going to OKC for morning appt. It was a good long wait at the shipper due to a line of trucks getting there around thevsame time... I secured the load, sign the bills, entered it the qualcomm and I was on my way made my first stop in Dallas to do my load check, then again at a rest area outside Ardmore, OK... Made it to OKC still with time to spare... Had not been for waiting so long at shipper, I could've made it before the closing time..... We'll see how tomorrow goes..
