Do I do a pretrip you ask,I do a pre and post trip.I take my dog out at the end of my driving day so while shes doing her job I do a post trip as well.So if you dont physically get under the trl and look you're not doing as proper pretrip.I don't care if you shower everyday, whats that got to do with getting violations and a questionable pretrip?lol.Sounds like you don't care about the csa otherwise you'd be doing a proper pretrip. So what if you've never got any tickets, that does NOT make you a model driver, you getting put oos and not doing pertrips proves that.

    Right but wrong.

AN LEO is gonna demand a sample be taken. You company provides you with a kit so it goes to their regular testing service and they know where to go to get the results, it is in your companies name.

An LEO can take you to a hospital or pull a test kit at a weigh station and send it to any lab and it may take them months to track down the results.

an OO should be part of a consortium and carry a kit from them but they are not required to, and neither are company drivers. It just makes more sense to than not.

Personally, I don't think you can come up with the proper readings in 5 minutes in a scalehouse office.
What if the test had come back positive? You say you do neither, but the officer says different. That's opening a can o' worms that you will never close.

My question is, where is the chain of command on the drug test? There are certain procedures when labbing UA's and it has to be sealed in front of the testee, and they have to sign the seal, then its placed in a bag and sealed, in front of the testee? WTH???? Chain of command and back up specimen in this case would be questionable at best. :biggrin_2554::biggrin_2551:
