Prior to the new 34-hour rule with the 2 consecutive 1-5am you would get your 2.5 off per week. You would get home on Friday afternoon Saturday morning and then leave out on sunday or Monday. If you can get a dedicated run so you know what youre doing every week. A lot of times you ended up running off your recap hours.

So I can get 2 days off in a row and make about 70,000 yr right? Because I don't wanna drive 80 miles to home just for a 34 every week.

We'll I think I'm gonna jump with both feet and hope for the best. I've heard a lot of positive stuff so far and have heard one disgruntle driver but he graded the company an 8 out of 10 so he's not very disgruntle I feel

The math test is simple add, subtract, and division. They give you a certain amount of time to get as many done as you can. When time is up you mark where you are then finish the rest of the problems. The written test is like a CDL test that you may take when going for your CDL permit.

Hey guys, I'm looking for info on the interview process as well. I've got one set up for next week. I haven't driven in a long time, but I have 3 years of driving experience. I'm wondering if the road test will be done on the same day as the typical interview with all the paperwork and conversations. The transportation manager I spoke to knows I haven't driven recently and suggested a 40 hour refresher course would be a good idea to get me through training quicker so I can start making more than 500 a week, so I'm thinking a road test might come after a refresher course.
Also, anybody have advice on attire to wear to the interview? I typically wear suits to interviews but I didn't know if that would be over the top for a truck driving gig.
