Well I havnt heard anything yet from dot getting a little worried my current company isn't wanting to work with them on my record release I don't know if I should call them and ask if there is a hold up or just let be what it is. I wasn't so worried about till I read they only hire 3% of the applicants but I guess I'm just a little fish in a big pond in the truck driving world

I got a call today. Friday I go for my ability test and road test then as long as I don't screw up I will start a week from Monday. superdooper I wouldn't give up hope yet. They don't get in a big hurry. Are you dealing with the folks in Mt. Sterling? With 4 years experience and if you have a clean record and good work history I'm sure they will hire you.

I took the final test at Dot today. The CDS ability test. It was quite the workout for this old man but I passed it. I start orientation on the 27th.

The CDS test was the abillity test I took at Dot. They have two test one for Customer Delivery Specialist and one for Transfer Driver. The CDS test is a little tougher then the Transfer Driver test. It's basically a lot of lifting, carrying, reaching, stepping, and pulling.

They take their time during the hiring process so dont give up. I remember when I got hired there it took almost 3 months from start to finish.
